2. Install Instructions

Installation of our template is really easy, you just need to make a few steps to get it done.

2.1. Package structure

When you download theme from our store and unzip, you will be got full of main files for theme installation. They're:

2.2. Template Installation

2.2.1 Cache

Reindependent the cache. We recommend you to disable it at all until magento is not configured.

Go to System/Cache Management

2.2.2 Upload Files

Our theme is compatible with latest (for now 1.9.1) version of magento community.

Using your favorite FTP manager upload folders app, js, media and skin of theme directory to root of your magento. No one magento default file will be overridden.

2.2.3 Re-Login

We provide few additional modules with the theme and you have to log out and log in again for correct installation all of them.

2.2.4 Set Package

Go to System/Configuration/Design page of your admin panel and set Current Package Name in Package as sns_amoda and Default in Themes as default

2.3. Quickstart Installation

Our QuickStart has supported auto import sample data, so you don't need import sample data by manual(go to phpmyadmin and import .sql file). You can refer this video(How to install QuickStart): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3XcOMBU5A0

Our template is delivered with SNS Theme/SNS Amoda module to help our clients with easy configuring magento without coding.

Go to SNS Theme/SNS Amoda menu tab in the admin panel to see a block with options.

5. Static Blocks

Magento allows you to create blocks of content that you can use throughout your Web Store. We have created a few statics blocks to give you ability to put your own content into the most important regions of the store.

How to create a static block?

Go to CMS/Static Blocks and click the button Add New Block

Import static block for your website

If you want to install Theme(not install QuickStart) for your website. You can import our sample data about Static Blocks via Admin >> SNS Theme >> SNS Amoda >> Theme Installation. You can also see detail code of them via file ROOT/app/local/Sns/Amoda/etc/import/blocks.xml

6. CMS Pages

How to create a static block?

Go to CMS/Pages and click the button Add New Page

If you want to install Theme(not install QuickStart) for your website. You can import our sample data about CMS Pages via Admin >> SNS Theme >> SNS Amoda >> Theme Installation. You can also see detail code of them via file ROOT/app/local/Sns/Amoda/etc/import/pages.xml
