Software requirements: latest Adobe Muse version.

 

Note: This template is for use with Adobe Muse and can’t be used in Wordpress as theme.

 

 

How to edit template

 

!!! First Install manually webfont into Adobe Muse !!!

 

1. Go to http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/montserrat and download Montserrat font .zip archive to your computer

 

 

2. Unzip archive with fonts

3. Go to the Webfont Generator http://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator to generate custom webfonts for Adobe Muse.

 

 

4. Click on the button 'Upload fonts' and select fonts:

            - Montserrat-ExtraBold.otf

            - Montserrat-Regular.otf

 

 

5. After uploading fonts select 'Expert' mode and Font formats: TrueType, WOFF, WOFF2, EOT Compressed,

SVG. (don't change any other options)

 

 

6. Scroll down to Agreement section and click check box.

 

 

 

7. Press button DOWNLOAD YOUR KIT.

 

Now you can save your webfonts kit for Muse to your computer. Please .unzip downloaded archive.

 

1. Open Adobe Muse

2. Got to menu File > Add/Remove Web Fonts

 

 

3. Select tab 'Self Hosted' and click on +Add Fonts

 

 

4. Choose Locate Folder Browse and select your folder with downloaded unzipped webfonts kit.

 

 

5. Check option "By clicking Continue" I confirm I have properly licensed the above font(s) for website use." and click on "Continue" button.

 

 

 

6. Now webfont 'Montseratt' are Installed into Adobe Muse and you need to check this font and press OK.

 

 

That's it. You ready to edit BeFaster template!

 

Open template in Adobe Muse

·         Unzip the downloaded archive.

·         Find BeFaster.muse file. Open this file in Adobe Muse for editing or doubleclick on it (this will open straight into Adobe Muse). Make sure you have latest version of Adobe Muse.

In Muse

Once you get Muse opened you’ll want to head over to the “Design” tab - then open the “Home” page. In “Design” you can edit all of the bits you see once the site has been published.

 

PS. To be able to edit everything on the page you should right-click and select “Unlock All on Page”, and to add metadata like keywords, page description etc. you’ll need to right-click and select “page properties.

 

Previewing

When you’ve made a change to the theme you can just as easily preview it. Just head up to “Preview” in the menubar and click it. Once the preview generates it’ll show you the site in the built-in Muse browser, but to view it how everyone else will see it just go to “File” then “Preview in Browser” - this will load in your default browser.

 

Replacing/changing images in Muse

Select the rectangle you want to fill with a new image and select new image.

 

Exporting

This part is even easier.

1. Go to “File” in the menubar, then “Export as HTML”

2. Enter your website name

3. Make sure to save it to the HTML folder already there

You just need to upload it via FTP now.

 

Quick change color in template

Double click on color in "Swatches" panel and change the color.

 

Export template

After customization save template and export site to HTML or upload to FTP host.
