Introduction

Namira is a slick eCommerce template for clothing shops. This Joomla template based on the latest Bootstrap 4 framework and fully responsive. Organized files will help you to customize the look of your website. Namira is built with Helix Ultimate and clean semantic code. The code is clean and optimized, so it’s great for SEO. Grab Namira Joomla today and start selling online.

Namira is based on Helix Ultimate so is full responsive, fast loading, secure, and have many features. For the majority of the pages we use Page builder PRO version with many custom addons + some addons created by us.

Installation Guide


METHOD 1

The quickstart package is basically a clone of our demo preview, made with Akeeba Backup, a package of Joomla, Namira template, Components, Modules, plugins, libraries and everything else you see on the demo, all of these already installed.
All you need to do is to copy to your host the contents of the quickinstall folder, create a fresh database in your cpanel and just follow the quickinstall steps.
That's it, only 5 min and you have a full working website. This solution is mostly for users who will start a fresh website.


Next I will explain how to install our theme using the quickinstall folder contents:

INSTALLING AKEEBA BACKUP:

1) Create a fresh database.

2) Copy the files from the quickinstall folder into your host

3) Access the url where you extracted the files. A regular joomla installation should appear. Follow all the steps providing the needed details for the installation.

If you encounter problems, here are some steps you might want to check:

a) Access your administrator, example: www.yourwebsite.com/administrator/ , login and go to Site > System Information. Here look at the tab called "Directory Permission" and make sure all the folders listed are green "Writable". If not change their permissions to 755 for folders (or in some rare servers try 757) and files to 644 (the same in some rare servers try 646).
b) Joomla recommends the php option Display Errors to be disabled. Some servers have this option enabled. The advantage is you can change this settings from the Global Configuration, 3rd tab called Servers. There is an option there, Display Errors, that you can set to None.

But in most cases the installation should go smoothly and without problems.

METHOD 2

Next I will explain how to install our theme using the template folder contents:

INSTALLING STANDALONE VERSION (Piece by piece, from the template folder):

Install Joomla by downloading it from here: Joomla Official Website or by installing it from your cPanel.

After you install it, please have a look inside the folder called template and check for the zip called Namira. Now go to Extension Manager and Upload it.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Install theme Namira.zip
2. Install plugin(s) (system.zip and ajax.zip - for Helix 3, just system.zip for Helix Ultimate) you will find in our Plugins folder from our pack.
3. Enable plugin(s). If you need instructions on how to do so, please check: Joomla Plugin Manager
4. Set our newly installed template as default. You can check more info here: Switching templates
5. Customise and make import of our demo settings. For this you need to go to our import folder. Now it is up to you to choose which demo settings you want. I will explain in the following lines how to import different settings:


Using the Import folder:

a. Installing Theme Settings: After you install Namira template and plugins, it will be necessary to install the settings located at the folder called "theme settings".

For this, you need to go to Extensions - Templates - Click on our template or one of its childs (if you duplicated our template style) - Go to down to the Advanced tab (last option) - Scroll down to Import & Export - here, in the import box, you will paste the content found after you open the .json file with a text reader.

b. Inserting a page in Page Builder: After installing SP Page Builder Pro extension from our extensions folder, you need to install the page or pages you desire located at the folder called "page builder".

For this, simply click on SP Page Builder - Pages - Create a new page - Select Import and just select the page from the .json of the page you received.

c. Layer(Creative) Slider slider example: If you choosed to install Layer(Creative) Slider Pro extension from our extensions folder called and want to use one or more of the sliders from our demo, you need to import them from the folder called "layer".

For this, you need to go to Components - Layer Slider - Select Import Sliders and choose the desired slider from our import - layer folder.

! Important Recommendation: If you prefer this method, we recommend you to install on a subdomain our quickinstall package to see exactly how our theme is set up.
It is important you do this because it can get confusing when you have a big theme with lots of menus, template styles, pages, modules or sliders.


Updating our template

Is very simple to update our template. You need to:

1.Make full backup of your site
2.Update joomla to latest version
3.Update all extensions WITHOUT HELIX BUILDER AND LAYER SLIDER
4.Install plugin(s)
5.Install page builder + layer slider
6.clean cache

Note: If you have an Joomla version smaller than 3.8, please update Sp Page Builder Pro first and after that you can update Joomla.
 

Css suffixes

All our styles are easily placed so that you have no problem changing them. You can see instruction on how to do so below:

1. GENERAL, HEADER, FOOTER -> custom.css

You can find our general (different components, blog, shop, font imports, Page Builder Rows or Columns), header and footer styles in our custom.css file.

To edit it, you need to go to Your Host -> templates -> our template -> css -> custom.css

It is possible we use some css customs from page builder in this file also, the ones we could not use in the custom css from the page builder addon. So if you find the custom css from the addon like in the image below, empty, that means the styles for the entire Page Builder row or column are in this file -> custom.css.

HINT: Using browser's developer tools to find the styles.

In order to find a style applied to the template in custom.css (say, for example, you want to change the main color), you need to open browser's developer tools (find out how to use it here) to get the main color code and after then do a find and replace in the document (put in the find field the main color, add in the replace field the color you want and after press the replace all button).

2. GENERAL, HEADER, FOOTER -> Page Builder's Page css

If a page in our template uses the same Helix template layout, but has different syle, for example a different menu, different footer, different background, different fonts etc, to not create a template child and get our users confused, we apply the css in the page's own css.

To edit it, you need to go to the top of the page -> click on Options -> go to the CSS tab -> edit it (see image below)






3. PAGE BUILDER ADDONS

Each addon on page builder has it's own custom css section which we edited.
You can change it anytime by going to SP Page Builder -> Pages -> Select page -> Select edit addon -> Go to STYLE tab and scroll down until you find Custom CSS section (see image below).

General Configuration of the Helix Ultimate Template

  Go to Extensions - Select templates - click on Namira template and his childs :)

Basic:
1.Logo
- logo type image and you can upload your image here, or select as TEXT and you can add your text.

2.Header
- choose header height, sticky header and favicon.

3.Body
- Here you can choose preloader or boxed layout

4.Footer
- Here you can change footer text and enable go to top

5.Social Icons
- you can add top socials like twitter, facebook, etc

6.Contact Information
- in this section you can enter your contact infos and will be shown in top bar, before menu.

7.Coming Soon
- If you site is not ready, you can check this option and visitors will see custom page.

8.Error Page
- Here you can set up the error page for your site.

Layout Builder:
- here you can create your site layout,
- you can create one layour or more layouts: if you want to create new/different layout, you need to duplicate your theme and to build your layout. Please check our images how we add css class in layout's template. Also best ideea is to install our demo on subdomain and check how is configured. And why not, if you don't know something, please let as know on support website, and we will help you.

Navigation:
- here you can have 3 options:
- menu mega menu, off canvas (just icon) and both:menu and icon

Custom code tab:
- here you can add your custom css and js

Support & FAQ



1.HOW TO IMPORT A PAGE IN PAGE BUILDER?

R: Go to SP Page Builder - Add new page - Choose Import (top-left of the page) - Choose your page from our Import folder and save.

2. IMPORTED PAGE BUT IMAGES ARE HIDDEN

R: Before importing pages, copy folder images from our quickinstall in the folder called images from your joomla site.

3. I INSTALLED FRESH THEME AND I DONT SEE ANY CSS STYLES

R: In folder Import you have files for every theme style.

4. HOW TO IMPORT THEME STYLE?

R: Go to Extensions - Templates - Style - Hit Duplicate theme - Open new style created - go to Advanced - scroll down to Settings Import/Export - in box shown, add code from file theme style that you want to import and hit Import Settings and save - don't forget to add name on style and save again.

5. I IMPORTED A PAGE BUT SOME ROWS HAVE MISSING CONTENT

R: The rows that don't show up are the rows with joomla modules in them. You need to check the modules in our quickinstall and make the modules similar to ours.

6. I CAN'T UPDATE SOME COMPONENTS/MODULES. ALSO I HAVE A NOTIFICATION IN SP PAGE BUILDER THAT SAYS PLEASE ACTIVATE.

R: We do not own license keys for premium components, if you wish to have a license key, then you must buy the keys from the respective companies. We have only one license from the respective companies that allow us to distribute their components/modules for free with the template pack. But don't worry, as soon as an important update comes up, we will update our theme immediately. If you do not want to wait for an official update of the template, please email us your website link and purchase code and we will send it to you immediately, but you will do this at your own risk because this means we have not tested the new version of the component yet. Also keep in mind that the notification to activate PAGE BUILDER does NOT affect the component, you can still enjoy all it's premium features. Same thing goes for the rest of the premium components.

7. DO I NEED TO BACKUP BEFORE UPDATING

R: Yes, everytime you update a component/module, make a full backup. Also, we recommend you make regular backups on your website.

8. CAN I IMPORT THE MENU/MODULES FROM YOUR THEME?

R: Unfortunately, no. If you choosed method 2, installing the template alone, you will need to recreate the menu items and modules we have on the demo. But don't worry, just install our quickinstall package on a subdomain and you can check and recreate them from there in no time.

9. I INSERT THE LOGO IN THE TEMPLATE BUT IT DOES NOT SHOW UP.

R: If the theme is using 2 logos (one for the transparent header and one for the sticky header), it is impossible to achieve this using only the helix logo position. Instead, we inserted the logos as the background for the link in the logo position. You can check the link with the browser's developer tools and replace the logo images with your own. Or, if you have one logo, you can remove the backgrounds in custom.css and insert it normally in the helix template. We are sorry if this is a bit complicated, but it is the only way for now to get two logos on the same position.

10. I EDIT THE FOOTER CONTENT IN THE TEMPLATE BUT NOTHING HAPPENS

R: In the template you can only insert text in the footer and sometimes we need to insert links and images too. So we create a module and assign it to footer1 position. Just go to Extensions - Modules and you can find and edit there the footer content.

12. CAN YOU HELP ME BUILD MY WEBSITE?

R: We can offer our full support regarding the theme and it's usefulness or it's eventual problems. But we are not allowed to offer free customization/installation of the theme, nor can we offer tutorials for joomla.

13. CAN I USE YOUR THEME FOR ALL MY WEBSITES?

R: You can use our theme for only one domain. If you need to use it for other domains, you need to purchase additional licenses (buy the theme again).

14. AM I REQUIRED TO BUY LICENSES FOR PREMIUM COMPONENTS LIKE PAGE BUILDER OR CREATIVE SLIDER?

R: No, you are not. They will be available free for you to use in every update pack of our theme.

15. DO I NEED TO HAVE SERIOUS KNOWLEDGE OF JOOMLA AND ITS COMPONENTS TO USE YOUR THEME?

R: No, you do not need that. If our theme is exactly what you need, then all you need to do is install our theme using the Method 1 (quickinstall) and start adding your own content. Simple as that.

16. I CHANGE THE PRESETS IN THE THEME BUT NOTHING IS CHANGING. WHY?

R: Helix framework, wheter it's helix3 or helix ultimate do not work like a style changer when it comes to the presets. They do not change a specific color everywhere, but only in some places, this is because the template uses components that bring to the table their own colors, like Sp Page Builder or Layer Slider. For example, if you want to change a color in a Sp Page Builder text block addon, it can't be done by presets. That's why we use custom css (custom.css and addon's custom css) most of the time to insert colors. We try to make everything dependable on presets too, but we can't achieve this everytime.

17. I CHANGE THE SETUP IN THE TEMPLATE SETTINGS, BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. WHY?

R: If a theme has more template styles (for example there is THEMENAME – Default and THEMENAME – Onepage), then you have to make sure you are editing in the right template. The THEMENAME – Default is not always used in all the pages. In some pages we need to use other settings (like different layouts) and this is impossible to achieve using only one template style.
